Iran short 'The Castle' to vie in Monaco

Iran short film 'The Castle' has been selected to vie at the 16th edition of Angel Film Awards-Monaco International Film Festival.

The short drama written and directed by Saba Ghasemi has been scheduled to screen at the 'World Premiere' section of the film event.

A brief synopsis of the feature reads, 'Some castles are made of bricks. Some are made out of books, but all castles stand by memories.'

Sajjad Tabesh, Armin Sayyad, Mahdokht Molaei, Sima Sheybani, Emad Emami and Ali Nasir are the cast members of the film.

Launched in 2003, Angel Film Awards-Monaco International Film Festival is a platform for non-violent film and screenplay, love and the art of making movies.

The latest edition of the festival is slated for December 3-6, 2018 in Monaco.
